But how can a child of God live in sin? God's Word instructs us that “These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. James 1:15 NLT. My desires were not the sin but the actions that I took to fulfill those desires was the sin. So how can a child of God live in sin? We all have wants, and desires but when we are intice to the point of taking action. To the point of covetness, deception, lust, greed or any other selfish action that is the sin that leads to death. When we become comfortable with our sinful actions then we are living in sin. But can I stop for a moment to thank Jesus for His sweet Holy Spirit.
