Good morning,

As we step into 2025, I find myself reflecting on the changes that 2024 brought—some for the better and others more challenging. Through it all, God has been faithful and kept me grounded. This year, I aim to be more intentional in deepening my relationship with Christ Jesus.

Last year, Jesus reminded me of something that shifted my perspective and redirected my path: Live what is true. He spoke to my heart, saying, “Live what you believe. Live in alignment with My truth, not what people say or show you, but the truth found in My Word.”

This challenge led me to a pivotal question: “What do I truly believe?”

I began to examine my beliefs about God—who He was, who He is, and who He will forever be. This first quarter of 2025, I want to refocus on understanding who God is and always has been. Whether we recognize it or not, the way we live is shaped by what we believe.

For example, if you believe that diet and exercise impact physical health, you’ll likely live a lifestyle of healthy eating and regular exercise. If you believe that good grades are key to getting into your dream college, you’ll dedicate yourself to studying and sacrifice for that goal.

In the same way, our spiritual life is shaped by what we believe about God. It matters deeply what we know and believe about Him because our beliefs shape how we live and reflect our faith. This is why the enemy works to plant seeds of self-doubt and self-sabotage.

Though we won’t give him too much credit, think about how the enemy operates: he reminds us of past mistakes to make us feel unworthy, hoping to distort our beliefs about ourselves and God. If he convinces us that we’re failures, we start living as though that’s true.

But here’s the truth: knowing who God is—His unchanging character and eternal faithfulness—empowers us to live a life rooted in Him. When we align our lives with God’s truth, we reflect our faith in every area.

 Learning to embrace the TRUTH! Have you ever looked at your reflection in a mirror only to discover that you don't appear to be yourself? I have. As I went through life searching for love, acceptance, and self-worth I ended up buying the lies this world fed me.  Such as I had to look a certain way to receive love, or I had to please people to be accepted and liked. There's one thing wrong with this belief. The feeling of not being good enough when you don't receive love and acceptance. The feeling of rejection can lead to self-doubt.  The lyrics of Lauren Diagle's song entitled  You Say, powerfully express this.  "I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough.   He heard my prayer and He answered Living in sin can become warm and cozy. Becoming comfortable in doing wrong is a dangerous place to be. Especially for a child of God. But how can a child of God live in sin? God's Word instructs us that “These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. James 1:15 NLT. My desires were not the sin but the actions that I took to fulfill those desires was the sin. So how can a child of God live in sin? We all have wants, and desires but when we are intice to the point of taking action. To the point of covetness, deception, lust, greed or any other selfish action that is the sin that leads to death. When we become comfortable with our sinful actions then we are living in sin. But can I stop for a moment to thank Jesus for His sweet Holy Spirit. Reset Please

Where's the reset button? Everything that could have gone wrong has. Now what? These thoughts flooded my mind one day as I realized I was making the same mistake repeatedly.  I buried my face in my hands as I cried out. I cried so hard that I could barely breathe. I walked around carrying the weight of guilt for a while until one day a friend of mine shared the reset button with me. There is hope. There is a reset. Social media is a world in itself. It appears that everything you may need in life is attached to social media. Everyone is seeking something in life. Some may be seeking fame and fortune, popularity, information, and connection to name a few.  We all are seeking something and as we stroll through social media it appears that we can find what our heart seeks. Entertainment is there, trendy hot topics are there the latest gossip is there, drama is there, networking opportunities are there, and various social groups to belong to they're there. Some spend countless hours on social media strolling through the different news feeds and posts. Attempting to fill whatever void they  may be experiencing.
